They gave away most of the meat and two woolen blankets. At noon, cloudy sky, 30°F [−1.1°C]. Severe wind out of the east. The Hidatsas came back with much meat, as did Bonneaventure Le Brun, who, however, had not shot anything for me. Charbonneau went to the villages.
